Bill Oakley & Josh Weinstein
Creators & Executive Producers, Mission Hill

Bill Oakley and Josh Weinstein, both 33, have been writing comedy together for 20 years. Their career began at their Washington, D.C. high school, where the two founded one of the first high school humor magazines in the country.

After college, Bill and Josh wrote for Spy, National Lampoon, and "America's Most Wanted" before moving to Los Angeles. In 1992, they joined "The Simpsons" in its third season. From 1992-1994, the two wrote 12 episodes, including "Lisa vs. Malibu Stacy" and "Who Shot Mr. Burns (Parts One and Two)." In 1994, they were promoted to Executive Producers and served as head writers for the show's 7th and 8th seasons. In their tenure, the pair earned three Emmy Awards, a GLAAD Award, and a Peabody.

In 1998, Bill and Josh left "The Simpsons" to join Castle Rock Entertainment where they developed Mission Hill.

 
   

Lauren MacMullan
Designer and Supervising Director, Mission Hill

Lauren MacMullan has been an animation director for 10 years. She has directed, designed, and animated commercials for Nintendo, MTV, Cartoon Network, Reebok, Captain Crunch, Panasonic, and the Fox Kid's Network, including a long-running series for Marshall's with Olive Jar Studios in Boston. Lauren was a winner of MTV's World Problems/World Solutions Storyboard Contest in 1992, and her resulting 20-second piece, "Feet", went on to win prizes at Annecy and first prize at the Cardiff International Film Festival.

In 1993, Lauren moved to Los Angeles to work as an animation director on the primetime show "The Critic". She has also directed episodes of the Emmy award-winning show "King of the Hill".

Lauren attended Harvard University, and was briefly President of the Harvard Lampoon before flunking out for a few years.
